I think it takes a while for it to register. Try clearing your cache if it doesn't change after a while. That should do the trick.

Yup, agreed. Or, you can try refreshing the page a few times.

But i've tried on three different pcs

if you go on my profile it works, just not when i post

You need to also change your avatar. Your avatar gets used when you post

Oh that's right. I forget there's the profile and avatar (post display picture). Yup, you'll have to make sure either both images are the same so when you refresh or clear the browser cache, you'll be able to see the difference.
