USD$300 Monitor

so im gonna sell my 32" tv and get a 27" monitor i saw some on newegg but of course when it comes to tvs there are no benchmarks so its hard to make a choice

i had my eyes on this one

Asus 27"

i like that it has all the standard connectors on it (dvi,vga,hdmi and even displayport) and it got some good reviews on newegg

what do you guys think??

suggest a different one for same price or lower ?

Samsung P2770h or P2770hd. The P2770h i can vouch for because i own one and i LOVE IT!! it is a 27" 1920x1080, 2ms, 70,000:1, 60hz monster. The P2770hd model is the same design except it is 5ms, 50,000:1 but has a built in tv tuner. Both of these have been out for a while so i cant imagine them being to expensive.

what does the p2770FH have that the other 2 dont?

EDIT: nvm quick google search and the FH is the 2010 model and the p2770h is the 2009 model minor tweaks p2770fh

I've had both the H and FH models in my search for the perfect monitor ( for me) both were simply amazing great colors crisp clear pic. The only issue I had was getting back from it enough to read text as I couldnt make it clear enough with how close it was to me due to my desk setup. I needed to be able to wall mount it to get it back far enough to make text clear enough. But alas neither model is wall mountable. But overall if your not stuck with a desk wit a back and you can get it positioned right for you ........you will not regret it at all.
