:wavey: I have upgraded my OS to WIN XP PRO, I have a MS 6340 LE motherboard 1 Gz AMD Athlon Processor and 512 RAM . The problem I am having is that the USB ports are not getting picked up. I have checked the Device manager and all is ok. I have tried several devices and formatted the HDD again , with no help. I have also tried Win XP Pro SP2. Can someone pleaz help, B 4 i purchase another Motherboard. The Micro Star website do not have a driver that helps. The USB devices work with Win 200 Pro on, but I need WIN XP - PRO for various tasks., Programs. The operating system is stable running various tasks but just freezes when a USB device is attached. I noticed that when I have a USB pen drive attached on Boot-up the Bios recognises it and I am able to work with it transfering files but if I take the device out and out it back in the PC freezes( obviously taking care to stop the Device by right clicking on the device manager on the bottom right of the screen.
