usb and my motherboard

lo i bought my comp a fw months ago and eveything is good

except for the the extra usb i got with the case on my Thermaltake VA3000

now im no idiot, but on my motherboard Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi 975x it has usb sockets but the pins are different on the mobo it has a 9 pin male connection, a row of 4 and a row of 5, but with the usb connectors on the case its just a 4 or 5 pin i think, can anyone help?

The USB cables coming from your Tt chassis should fit on to the included connectors from your ASUS motherboard (USB -blue and FireWire - Red). As for all the others (speaker, HDD LED, PWR and Reset), they should all go onto the ASUS Q-Connector (the big white connector) at the bottom of your motherboard.

in your motherboard manual, there should be a guide on how to attach these, there's a specific way to do it, you have to get the pins in the right order for them to work, its best to test it using the trial and error method, if you dont have, and cant get a copy of your manual online

tbh i wouldnt use the trial and error method. You should see what happens sometimes when there plugged in incorrectly. Smokey!
