urgent:mouse+kb trouble

well i was re-doing my room today which involved moving the pc so i could put up a new table.

but now after hooking my pc back up the mouse and keyboard are playing up.

the mouse power is intermittent and the kb just plain refuses to work when i get to the login screen-it works fine before then

please help.

edit; forgot to mention i tried alsorts of other usb ports and system restore to no avail(safe mode works fin though bstbh lol)

well to my suprise the problem seems to have fixed itself

i am sure this pc is posessed to do bad things and make me upset and then when ive tried a shizload of things it fixes itself:crazy:

ok well i think i figured out whats wrong...theres not enough usb bandwidth (so winblows says) but it doesnt make sense because i am actually now running with 2 less usb devices than i had before.

now i just have-modem,mouse,bluetooth dongle and my keyboard if it would stop saying theres not enough bandwidth(trying to get my kb to work)

so has anyone got any ideas?

or how i could free up bandwidth without unplugging devices?

this is a really weird problem because i have used upto 5+ usb devices before and not had a single problem.

i am starting to think windows as taken a dump on me,its special way of telling to format:rotfl:

Dang, I`m all upset now, I was all ready and setup to rip into u for plugging the ps2 thingies in the wrong ports.
