*URGENT* Medusa 5.1 quiet *URGENT*

Ok I've got a lan in like 4 hours, just tried my medusa out and its as quiet as fook. I can barely hear it!!! I've got a X Fi xtrememusic and as far as I know all the channels are correct (green to front, black to rear, yellow to sub/centre andpink to mic)...I've cranked up all volume settings I can find, turned off digital output and set to analogue 5.1. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

i expect its something in your windows settings, if the lan is providing pcs i wouldnt worry. take a pair of something else just incase though

Check for this diagnosis thing in the creative software. I got it for my audigy - it should show any problems. Also turn up the actual knob on the amplifier and the sound adjusters on the cable of your medusas.

Thank god you guys were around! It was the cable volume thingy i hadnt noticed b4 ROFL. Plz dont ban me for being such a n00b. hehe

Id tried all the "advanced stuff" and changed basically every setting!!! Its always the simple things that catch me out lolololol

black: rear

pink: mic

green: front

yellow: sub

lemme just check

edit: nope my bad, ive plugged mine in wrong when i reinstalled them the other day channels have been corrected

Yea cant seem to hear any bass but other than that it sound brill
