Upgrading concerns, need advice

As a few of you may have seen in another thread, my 2600K took a crap on me recently (closer exam showed that the bottom line of contacts on the processor were discolored, as was another patch... probably burning out from poor overclocking procedures... live and learn). I am looking to revive my machine over the next few months but am unsure of what I should be doing:

One option is to go with a 3570K-based build. I have been eyeballing this motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme6 , as the color scheme, general board layout and feature set matches what I would want out of my build.

My other option is based on the fact that Haswell is going to be getting released sometime around June (or so I have read). Since I haven't really been able to find much more information on Haswell apart from a few articles that briefly describe architectural advances I imagine we won't see much info until closer to release time. I would like to keep my system as future-proofed as possible (will be used for high end gaming and hi-def movies, with a PROPER overclock this time), so I am trying to make the right decision this time around. Not trying to make big purchases like this every year, not worth it to me. Should I wait for Haswell, or just say screw it and go with IB?

The parts I have access to for the rest of the build are:
Corsair Graphite 600T
Corsair H100i (Arctic Silver Ceramique 2 thermal paste)
BitFenix SpectrePro white LED fans (3X120mm, 1X 200mm)
G.Skill Ripjaws 16 GB 1600 Mhz memory kit (4X4)
Galaxy GTX 670 (reference design)
Crucial m4 128 GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1TB storage drive
Rosewill HIVE 750W semi modular PSU
