upgrade rads or not?

I'm stuck, I cant decide whether to keep my current rads for my new build or change them. I'm currently using an EK XT360 and a magicool G2 280.

Cooling wise I'm going to be cooling an overclocked I7 6700k and a pair of GTX 1080's.

Should I keep these or swap for a different brand???

if there is nothing wrong with the rads and they will fit then I would say stick with them. From what I gather its 120 per cpu/gpu and 120 over so that should be enough.
If your wanting to go even quieter then use bigger rads and slower fan speeds.
Dont they 6700 run cooler and I think one of the points on the 1080 was also less wattage.

tbh dude, that XT360 will be enough for that setup, but if you really want to do a 360 and 240/280 have a look at the new ek "XE,PE and SE"stuff, you can take them apart and paint them as they're all screwed together

The rads are perfect to be honest not a mark on them they are just a few years old so thought they might be a little outdated by more recent rads

it's your money dude, just in case you didn't know about there new rads can be stripped down and painted to match your build :)

I try to avoid painting stuff unless I really need and my new build does not require painting as it's black and white colour scheme. Think I might keep them for now and see how it goes

thats cool dude, i look forward to seeing the build :)

i think XSPC still do white rads..

Yeah I'm keeping them black as the case internals are white. I'm thinking of adding an extra gts 120 rad at the back exhaust but I'm worried it will be overkill and look crowded with 360 front 280 top and a 120 back

Just stick with your current setup. Rads don't change much.

I also wouldn't bother with that extra 120 when you won't need it. Just makes things messy.

The 1080s will defo be under 250W so your rads are fine.

I cooled 3 290x and a 5930k with a dual 360 setup  Temps were fine.

How do you expect a recommendation when these cards aren't even out? We don't know much about them yet

Well we know what thelse power draw is and we have seen the card in action but my querie was less about the 1080's and more about are my rads getting old and due a refresh
