Upgrade or New Build?

Hey guys,
I know that there are a lot threads asking advices for new build and I read quite some of them. Before I ask for you guys’ opinion, below is my current rig:
CPU: i5 2500K @ stock
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212EVO (idle @ about 38-40C and under load (I used F@H to stress it) @ 62-64C)
RAM: Kingston HyperX 2×4GB 1600Mhz
MOBO: ASUS P8Z68 V PRO
GPU: ASUS GTX560Ti DCii TOP
PSU: Cooler Master GX750W
Audio Card: Asus Xonar DX
So, here are my questions:
1. I plan to upgrade my current 560 to 670 or 680. Any good brand, I mean best performance for price to suggest? I am ASUS fan boy, but still open to suggestion.
2. Is it really needed to change from z68 board to z77 just for the PCI-E3? I read somewhere else say that the performance increase is not that significant (like 1-3 fps) in gaming?
3. If I want to change to z77 board, is this setup is good enough?(budget roughly €1000[about MYR4200])
a. CPU: i5 3570K
b. RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2×4GB LP White 1.35v
c. MOBO: ASUS P8Z77 V PRO (not just fanboyism but also for the built –in WiFi) or MSI Z77A-GD65
d. GPU: ASUS, MSI or Gigabyte 670, 680 (also fanboy of nvidia, but will try to accept AMD)
e. PSU: Corsair AX850 (might for for SLI/CrossFire)

f. Anything that make this rig better like WC the CPU and GPU.:)

Agreed an ssd makes things so much faster, and you wont see a giant diffrence between the 2500k and the 3570k and if you are just gaming definitly save the money and upgrade the gpu and you will have a killer gaming rig.

Actually, I plan to sell my 560 but quite difficult to sell it in my place.
So the performance of 670 in PCI-E2 in not significant?
Could the GX750 capable for SLI 670?

The GX750 will be fine for sli 670's, currently there are no graphics cards that even harness the full potential of PCI-E2 so PCI-E3 is just not a thing we need yet
 
I agree with what's been said...

You dont need a better cpu - no point upgrading from Sandy to Ivy as there isnt really a benefit.

New graphics and SSD.

Also, get D14 or some WC alternative if you want and clock the hell out of the 2500k
 
first upgrade should be a powerful ssd. that will give ur system a great boost.
go for the evga 670 and suck the hell juice out of it.
 
ok. Intel 520series 480GB or Kingston HyperX ssd to go.
too bad my place dun have evga distributor of reseller. I only can get asus, msi or gigabyte.
going to get a D14 then XSPC EX240 WC kit. then WC my GPU.
1st thing gotta sell my 560Ti.

i will put quite a number of games in it. but the price of the 480GB ssd make me reconsider the possibility of getting a 480ssd and a GTX680 at the same time.
 
IMHO just so games will load faster is no reason to spend £400 on a storage device, also there is no need to get a 680 the 670 performs just as well and is much cheaper
 
I doubt you'll be playing all the games stored on the SSD regularly so the 480 GB drive would be a total waste imo. The money saved could be better spent elsewhere.
 
major outlet stores at my place just have intel, orz, kingston and corsair.
crucial just came in last week during a pc fair, havent hit the store yet.
will keep an eye for crucial.
