So I've used 320.49 for a long time because I heard the horror story about newer ones, but my 320 crashed sometimes in games for no reason, despite being fine in others for hours on end.
So bit the bullet and updated. System seems stable, haven't done intense test yet.
But I went into a UDK game I usually play. with SLI enabled, in this open field, with 320.49, I got around 150+ FPS. Now I get about 90FPS. That's a huge hit. I'm running a 120HZ monitor, so I'd rather be closer to 150 than 90, as you can imagine.
It added a new SLI compatibility bit for the UDK as well, which works fine it seems, I tired the old one I used, which was for BL2, and which gave me incredible performance, and it gave the same as this new one.
My performance is well...crap now. I didn't do any before and afters so it may be placebo effect, but it seems like the game runs worse. It doesn't feel "smooth" anymore, and kinda has more micro-stutter than I remember.
