finally recieved my 7950! never had a chance to really experience the higher end of the market, today is going to be a good day :lol:

Nice, I have the Asus DCII TOP 7950 as well. I was the same when I got mine, never had a high end card before so I went crazy trying loads of games I couldn't run well before and overclocking the crap out of it

I heard the 7950 DCII's have heatsink issues where the card would exceed 100C, but say the temps are fine!

RMA'd the same card last friday because it didn't work well with my rig

No, that is the issue, I read that the card was displaying a temp <80C, but it was crashing so they looked at the back with a thermal scanner thingy and it displayed the back of the card as >110C. If it isn't crashing, I wouldn't worry, just advising.
