All looks good. Maybe change the UD5 for the UD4, they are near enough the same board, the UD5 just has a few extra features.

Also, the 7870 and 7850 are out next week, might be worth waiting to see how they perform before you go ahead and buy a 6950.

Looks pretty good indeed. I agree with SieB, you should definitely wait till the 7850 & 70 are out until your purchase a GPU. Apart from that it looks like a solid upgrade.

I already have a ud4 wanting a ud5 as there's 3 pci lanes and I can quite easily split the cards up. I want to cross fire as I want to run 3 monitors

I would prefer a 24" monitor. The whole experience looking at 24" is better.

UPgrading mobo now is a waste of money,if you want a real ivy-bridge mobo later this year. The ud4 is just as good as it is,no real gain.If you were buying new mobo i would have suggested the ud5 though.

The Hale 850w is also more than enough if you want x-fire hd6950.I will say the same as sieb here, wait for the hd78xx.Or you could sell your hd6950 and buy a hd7950,price is close to be the same.

I`m not a big fan of 1600mhz ram for Sandybridge,2133mhz does a better job with an oc`ed 2500k.But if you like the white look more than performance its your choise

Noctua have the new NF-F12 fan,its way better than the old NF-P12.

and im looking at 22" as i already have one, and it's fine enough for me

Also the reason for me getting a UD5, is because there is 3 pci lanes. and i worry about the 2 6950's melting one another and the level of heat being pushed on the card's. just paranoid i guess dont want to spend money for things to go wrong. Have thought about water cooling the GPU's but not sure if they do blocks for sapphire 6950's (and yes im a complete noob when it comes to water cooling)

also cats dont like water
