hi, I am going to be winning the £144,000,000 euromillions jackpot on friday and im gonna be building a new rig, once i have picked up a few new cars etc. obviously money wont be a issue, but just how extreme should i go, dont wanna go quad sli, cant be arsed with the drivers, i was thinking a couple of 780's and a nice wc solution. 4k monitor ofc,

(ps. this is just for fun, but we all have these dreams dont we!!)

agree with you regarding quad sli. I think even if i had won the lottery I would never go higher than SLI, seems a waste.

I would probably go with

4770K
Asus Maximus VI extreme
16GB 2133 corsair vengeance pro Ram (red of course)
Corsair 860 PSU with black sleeved set
dual GTX 780s
2 samsung 840 pro 512GB SSD
1/2 TB Western digital black or Seagate barracuda storage drive
Full water cooling loop

Maybe you should've put this in the off-topic section, but oh well ;)

If money wasn't an issue at all, I'd just grab a dual- or even quad socket motherboard (supermicro), toss in a few Xeon's, an insane amount of RAM and make the storage all SSD. That should be a nice workhorse ;)

Youll be changing that board soon.

Dual Xeons, SR-2, four Titans in Quad SLI, Dominator Platinum 64GB 2133MHz, all watercooled in a CaseLabs case. And the Eizo DuraVision FDH3601.

hmm. i would find it hard not to use the TTL edition ud4+corsair bundle. but i dont see the point in using any mechanical storage drives, can we get any 1tb ssd's yet?

agreed the silver/coloured partnered with the new gigabyte boards does look awesome

Nope probably not. Ivy-e will be using 2011, and there there'll be a new socket I think. (Tick-Tock).
Well, I don't suppose the 2011 boards are optimized for Ivy Bridge-E. Like the Z77 boards aren't optimized for Sandy Bridge CPUs, yet they are compatible with Sandy Bridge. Dunno about Haswell-E, that's way too far ahead ( 2015 IIRC ). Not much of a hassle for 2011 board owners though, I very much doubt it would be worth upgrading from Sandy Bridge-E to Ivy Bridge-E anyway.

Well, if i will win a lottery then i will buy 2 PCs for my personal taste and 1 Mac Pro.

As for PC, i will be sure to have fastest CPU or in that level, XEON or Haswell 49xx or even 39xx, RAM is minimum 32GB so 64GB is not any issue at all, SSD 4 of them and 1 or 2 3TB HDDs, Titan in 3-SLI or 4 780 quad SLI, all other things such as the case and PSU can be managed due to those components.

I wasted a lot on computers so far, 3 Mac computers [1 Mac Mini and 2 Macbook Pro], 5 PC computers [2 laptops, and 3 new builds just within 2 months].

Why get a mac?! :/
Just get 2 custom built pcs :p

Still i like Mac OS, i don't want to do Hakintosh, so i leave Mac OS for Mac computer itself, and still i want to work with final cut pro, mac making me feeling i am doing things smooth, with PC most of the time i have to OC here and there to boost something, and i prefer Mac Apple Store on my Mac for swapping between my iPhone/iPod/iPad than doing this on one of the PCs, and at the end i still run Apple Cinema Display 30", i want to keep that for Mac computer only ;)
