A few days ago I asked about some tips about overclocking. I had bought a new powersupply since the old one got struck by lightning. Yesterday I was putting the new one in and things looked very good until I plugged the screen in.
I just couldn't get a visual.. Everything got power it seemed. I tested my screen at another computer and it worked. The motherboard got power and it even reacted when I tested to give the SLI setup less power than needed.
I can't really test the graphiccards I'm afraid. So either something at the motherboard is broken even though it appears to work perfectly. Nothing is burned. Is it even possible that the motherboard is partly broken due to a lightningstrike? One would think that it's impossible that the graphiccards break before the motherboard.
Any tips on what to do? Or should I just replace my ASUS a8n prem motherboard? And if so should I pick the same or another board?
