X-230's are a great lil pair of speakers. I gave them to my sis b4 she went to university so i'm left with my headset.

A nice looking setup there with some nice speakers.. i really want to try and wire my rear ones properly like that.. but am afraid they will either not have long enough cables or look a little messy.. yours don't look too bad but maybe but the one near the window down the side of frame.. not sure about other ones mind you.

The cables should be plenty long. I have lots of extra wire where mine are know.

I have the Auzentech-Xplosion card it works great with the optical cable giving me great 5.1 surround.
