Yeah Linus isn't as good as you when it comes to modding, but I must admit, his video production quality is rather exceptional.
Except the cheesy balls were they throw peanut butter and jam at each other.

At least with a TTL video is't not a quarter ad's like a LTT video and you get the full nitty gritty, but anyway back on topic I remember the Blue Rampage really well and it's just as well you didn't sell it Tom like you were going to at one stage there, and I too wouldn't mind seeing it come out of the magic cupboard again for an airing

As far as Linus' videos go, I watch most of his stuff and do not mind the ads much. He has a big team an he has to pay for them somehow.

That's why I've never been too fond of Linus, 30 seconds of ads at the start, 2 minutes of ads at the end and the conclusion is always the same, It's either "This is by far the best darn <insert hardware name> I've ever had the pleasure of using" Or "This needs some work but I can see what they were doing", Same every time.
Also as a presenter having the right attitude does help a lot and to me he comes off as rather smug and that shows especially when he talks to devs of companies at trade shows, You can see the amount he pisses them off by the look of their faces when he just comes out with some really insulting stuff, smirks then moves onto something else.

To be fair, Tom has ranted a couple of times (but still only a few). Like the Thortech PSU video, or the Antec case. But still not offensive comments but witty reactions especially on the Antec case video xD

The Antec case video was fully justified as the quality was extremely sub par.
