fractal design arc mini or midi can do push/pull on a H100, 30/45/60/80mm thick radiators
and still not interfere with the MOSFET h'sinks or RAM heatsinks..

airdeano

For push / pull you'll require much space over the mainboard tray ... cases who offering that are rare and usually bigger than normal mid towers ..

What are you doing with the rig? I think for the most users push / pull is not necessary.

i am going to playing cod and battlefield 3 i am looking at getting the corsair 500d if it is not needed i have not over clocked my processor as of yet nore the graphics card so what u think

but i will be doing it in the long run i think

I think you won't need push / pull :) temps under load won't come > 40°.

woh hang on, bf3 will put your system usage up high I wouldn't be banking on less that 40 degree c temps mate...

If push pull fits, what's the harm?

Yes you can IF you take the top grill off. You can fit the rad in the top section and mount the fans underneath and use the top section with no problem but if you dont mind keeping the top section off then you can mount fans on top of that.

Ive just spend the last 12 hours working on overclocking my 8150 (and having dismal results) and have tried different configurations for mounting the fans and rad and mounting the rad on top with the fans underneath it and pulling air in works best. Its the coolest by 2C under full load which is a big deal if youre going for max overclocks.

I even tried the difference with the top section on and off and got a little less than a degree cooler with it off. Guess it lets the rad sit in the ambient air better.

So yeah, if you dont mind taking the top grill off, you can run push/pull. If you dont want to then you cant.
