Hello everyone, I heard good things about this forum and I love to watch TTL videos on youtube.

Now I am asking if someone can take some time to aid me finish up my parts list I would appreciate it very much.

One of my mates just bought a new rig with random parts see below.

So here is what I picked and I am trying to beat his rig I would like to spend 2000$ Canadian, I know sli 570's beat a 590 but does anyone know how much it would beat it by if I overclock the 570's? Also if you have any suggestions as any parts I should change please tell me (Other then windows 7 and the usb dvd drive). Thank you in advance.

lol I saw that too I was like wtf!!! for ur psu get the HX850 same cost but modular and BTW dont expect that rebate lol even if ya do it within timeframe they'll pull the old we didnt get it in time routine.

You guys can just call me OP

And thanks for the input S_I_N I will check into the modular one.

I got another question about SLI, because I might end up buying a fractal Arc Mini and a ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z insted of the raven and evga board. Is it safe to put two SLI cards into a small case? The photo below shows what I mean the fans must not have alot of room to pull in air.

Thanks

I wouldn't suggest having both cars directly on top of eachother, get some MSI Twin Frozr 570's, EVGA uses reference design which is OK, but not the WOW you're looking for. Doesn't have to be MSI, Gibagyte will do the trick aswell, just stay away from reference cards, they're hot and noisy

Thanks for the reply

Yea I was looking at the twin MSI frozr's for it. I mean they should be cooler then the evga ones because of the design. The problem is the Arc Mini only has 4 slots so I would have no choice but to put em beside each other :[

I have two of the GTX 570 twin frozr III and they are insanely cool. Overclocked the temps stay at about 38 degrees c idle. Load it hits about 60 depending on what game. That's in the HAF-X as well btw.

Matt thanks for the info it really helps, on a side note are the cards side by side or is there a gap between them?

Tom must be bored to go about instilling names on the nameless specially on posts from july last year
