i download anything from 120 - 500Gb a month, so this is useless to me, and i get good speeds, and half decent pings, from pipex, for 19.99 a month

pings of anything from 5 -25

so they might be good, but i've already got better tbh

i spose its good for people who want constantly low pings, and good customer service, pipex kept me on the line for 2 hours last time

but other than that, i love there service tbh

I am going to go out on a limb and tell you that you do not download 500 gb a month lol

Thats about 600 ripped DVDs in 28 days or 250,000 songs, or every game you have running 24/7 online

I get by on a 25GB limit and I don't really stop downloading music all month. And I have all my installers and apps backed up so no need to download them

30gb is more than enough for 99% of users tbh

There is.. of course.. one media that would take up so much space.. and possibly deleted as they go..

I also know of serious newsgroup-geek-enthusiat (non-warez related), that download the whole groups at one time and delete them once read or watched. There are also business related things on such groups, open to every1. I`ve never understood downloading a whole group at a time, very wasteful imo, and with speeds we have today, almost unnecessary. Although it does beat the 2 day expiry that some have.

A ripped DVD is generally around 2gb, so 200 of those would be 400gb for a start Llwyd, not 600

I only download <20gb/month

I don't download massive files much tho, so most of it is probably from gaming & browsing.

I think the biggest files I might download are ISO's of linux, which happens once every 3 months or possibly longer

Most of the bandwidth used is probably by all of those people who use peer2peer networks.
