Truthfully hare hybrid drives any good?

My situation is since I modded my elite 120 I only have the 5.25 bay left to fit storage so this means 2 x 2.5 or 1 hdd
My current set up is 120gb ssd by pny and a samsung 2.5 250gb hdd @ 5400rpm
Now some of my game files are pretty large and just eat thru the ssd and well the laptop drive isn't suited for games really its pretty slow.

so the options I have thought about are

1 large hybrid drive 2tb+ Dont know if there worth it
2. keep the set up i have use the laptop drive for GOG.com games only and install steam to an external set up since my mobo has usb3 .

I have looked at adapters including the silverstone sdp10 dont like the idea of have a lot of drives in 1 bay.

Any suggestions are welcome.

My current game steam library is 1.5tb would like to have all the games installed on a drive some where

They aren't bad but they aren't SSD fast by a long shot, I put a 2.5" Seagate Momentus XT 750GB in my previous laptop where obviously packaging didn't allow for two separate drives. Boot felt much faster and everything else was acceptable. (check reviews to get an impression for yourself, I can't give you any factual evidence) I would never want to go without an actual SSD in my desktop though, in the grand scheme of things 2.5" SSD's are easy to squeeze into a desktop and can withstand ridonculous temperatures so why not go for a big 2TB+ hard drive and then stick your PNY somewhere else? If funds allowed I guess you could get a hybrid drive and an SSD, or a new bigger SSD and a good HDD like a WD black would be my personal preference but i've never had 1.5TB of games! All I have installed right now is Assassins Creed and Mafia II lools.
