Trans coding software?

I am looking for some trans coding software that I can run on my server that I am working on building right now.

currently I use handbrake but I would like something that is more automated like the IvI Pro for mac. It monitors folders and when there is something added to the folder it will automatically start the trans coding. I have been doing some research but no luck yet.

Is there anything out there for the Windows side to do this?

My other option is to get a mac and make it my server so I can run IvI pro on it.

Any suggestions? I will even consider paying for the software.

My weapon of choice, Adobe Media Encoder.

Amazing little tool, only downside is that it doesn't support MKV or WEBM wrappers, so you'd have to stick to MP4 or MOV for h.264 and forget about VP8 lol

when you say it does not support MKV are you saying that you cant even convert from MKV to MP4?

I am trying to get everything to MP4 so I can share through Itunes on the LAN and use Plex for WAN streaming.

I do like the way it looks, it looks like it is simple to use.

Yeah, it wont even recognize MKV files, so you'd have to unwrap them and put them in something else if you want to use them in AME.
Silly really since the insides are basically the same, but Adobe doesn't want no dirty open source stuff in their programs xD

So yeah, the best I can suggest is to use handbrake to do the MKVs, then AME should be able to handle the rest.
