ok, im not a one to be defeated easily, but as far as overclocking goes i really dont have a clue, i know you probablys always get asked this question but i really want to see what my system can do!! Alot of tutorials i have read talk about overclocken in teh bios, but i dont have n e options for this, I guess i need a really dumbed down version of overclocken!!

MY SYSTEM.

Packard Bell Imedia X2415

Q6600 Quad core

3 gig ddr2(i think)

500 gig harddrive

Now the motherboard as far as i know is called a Denver 10?? again not really sure about this, If you need n e more info, i would be gratefull if you could let me know what and how to obtain it?

Im really sorry that the question might not be very well put, but i do my best lol:rolleyes:

Thanx in advance for ne one who may be able to help

Well the problem is your motherboard. It will have nothing but the most basic of bios options making obtaining a reasonable overclock practically impossible.

Are you comfortable enough with upgrading you machines internals? If so Ditch the OEM rubbish and grab a mATX P35/45 board and you'll have a much better chance of unlocking some extra power.

Ok ill look into it, thought it might be a crap packard bell board, i was thinken on upgraden something i just didnt know what, now i do lol, cheers mate

Just gonna order my P45 board, apparently great for overclocking. Hope to see some good replies from you if you decide to upgrade :).

where you getten your board from!! i am goin to upgrade just trying to find it on the net and not haven n e luck, looked on scan, but i dont have a clue what im looken for really lol:P
