Toshiba R100 software/utilities

hey all,

was using a eee 701 for a year, needed something small for lecture. Screen size/res and keyboard got frustrating. Anyway, picked up a Toshiba Portege R100 on ebay.

Problem is, it came with a fresh XP install. w/o the oem toshiba utilities software none of the hotkeys work - I've checked the site, they only offer hardware drivers. Its a great laptop but I'm wondering if anyone could direct me to the utilities software? theres some nice hotkeys for autolocking/encrypting, changing screen res on the fly, turning the touchpad off etc etc.

PS, if anyones looking for a thin/light laptop and wants an alternative to a netbook, this is awesome. I'll post a review if anyone asks.

answering your first question nope i dont know, my first pc was a toshiba and it had alot of drivers problems etc, if you lost the drivers cd, you would not find it anymore, toshiba should upload its drivers on the site :(

also requesting your review, i saw the eee pc 701 seeling here and was pretty cheap (i just needed it to type things on university) but i didnt feel too well with it, also i thougth its battery life would last longer (3h for something so small and slow, i would go for a big noteebok, it lasts the same time and has bigger keyboard ) but anyways give us a review please :)
