I currentley have a EVGA gtx570 SC card but i see on a certain retailer that it is curentley 287.00 which i think is a bit of a bargin.

Im looking to future proof my rig as i would like to get a 120hz monitor or 2 and maybe go 3d. I currentley have a 24inch 1080p monitor, but i suppose my main questions are:

Is 287.00 a good price?

Will i see much benefit with 2 cards at the moment?

Im gona assume you have seen that at Scan.co.uk they have it on special for that at the moment. i have seriously considered SLI myself as soon as i have the money i am going to go SLI with my GTX 570 SC's so you get my vote.

If your gona be gaming don't bother with 2 monitors you will regret it. for me its either 1 or 3 monitors but im happy with my Hanns. G 28" at the moment.

You asume correctley, when i get a 120hz 24inch monitor i will use one for gaming and just one for browsing.

Im very tempted to buy another card, just dont knwo how to justify it!!!

Justify: "Better" "Faster" "Future Proof" "Epic" Mulit Monitor, if you want three monitors you need a second card anyway.

SLI al the way, been on SLI for a long time.

Not gonna be without them ever I think.

Gameplay runs so much smoother and lately 2 cards do scale pretty darn awesome.

Yeah mate go get sli you wont regret it unless you get 3x sli like ke and see a drop in frame rates and have to disable a pci slot before u play a game. Pain in the a**, I tell you.

thanks for the reply. i think im going to go for it. do u think 287 is a good price? or should i wait for it to come down

thanks for the post defo want to stick another evga in as they have such a good warrenty, i could get the stock evga 570 for 283 but i thimk the extra fiver is worth it for the overclock.

what size psu would i need for sli 570's

I have run GTX 570 SLI on a HX 750 very stable with an OC/

Which cards do you have? what games do you play with them

As said I have used SLI since the brought on the market.

Currently running 2 EVGA GTX460SC 1024MB EE in SLI, psu a 850W Thermaltake.

I run a 1920x1080 resolution and SLI working as a charm.

Benefit I think is that running 2 cards they dont get as hot as 1.

When looking at the load during gameplay it doesnt get any higher roughly around 60% load on each core.

And with all eyecandy turned on offcourse.

Has anybody SLI'd two GTX560's yet?

I have one of them on the way now, (the MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II/OC) and might spring for another one soon.

I wonder if they'll scale as well as some other GTX-SLI combination's seem to?
