Not worth it at all. RAM doesn't get hot so there's no need for a RAM cooler

Under very high overclocks, I guess this could help the stability of your RAM.

To some people, this may be aesthetically pleasing.

Cons:

In real life, it does nothing to help the stability of your system.

Seen mostly as a 'noob' purchase.

Money can be used in a better way!

Agree with the above posts... I have only had one computer that "needed it" but figured out later that it was because of low quality ram

I bought a ram cooler ages ago, just because it was cheap and I liked the look of it - its still in the box....

bizarrely a ram cooler does help with air flow but isn't needed for cooling ram per-se but that said there are better way of sorting air flow anyway

Buying a RAM cooler is against OC3D law and could result in a ban

Seriously though, RAM does not get hot enough to need cooling, it's all a gimmick the same as water cooling your RAM.

If you are extreme overclocking, as in pushing crazy high voltages then some extra cooling is needed but not for normal overclocking.

For looks, if you like that sort of look, then fair enough but as far as RAM coolers having a practical use, there isn't one.
