Aye, though it depends what the person wants really. If they want the best performance then like everything in life, you have to pay a lot more for it. But if you want cheap and cheerful then AMDs clearance stock is a bargain. I would not be surprised if the Titan continues to drop in the coming months as the difference between it and the 980ti do not justify the cost, plus it would make room for a dual gpu card to come in at the ~ £1400 mark.
I think the TitanX will hang around the £800 mark come what may as that is what it's predecessor did as well.
For a 2160p multi GPU setup the TX is the only option available, even 8gb is not enough for 4 cards these days.
