Tips for painting my mouse

Hello fellow forum users,

I have been wanting to paint my mouse for a while now and have finally decided to ask how to go about it, the mouse i have is a Cyborg Rat 3 a basic gaming mouse which i have had for probably about a year and half now.

I'm thinking about painting it a light blue similar to that in the OC3D logo or white maybe do a combo of the two, the main thing i want to know is what type of paint and primer should i use? and how exactly should i prep the plastic for paint? i assume lightly sand it and apply a primer?...

I use motip all the time good paint never had any problems

first you sand it whit a scotch brite then plastic primer / normal primer then the color and at last clear coat to give it that nice shiny look
