I thought I recognised that case, coolermaster centurion! I have one of them for my server, I lost the drive rails though. Pretty annoying!

Looks nice though, the chipset fan has got to be the most important upgrade. The stock Dfi one is just annoying!

Nice job timmy, just hope CS dosn't take two years too update!:D

Haha im back on css now, although ocing the graphics card seemed to reboot my pc in css, but not in 3DMARK or Aquamark. Maybe the temps were getting to high.

Sweet new stuff there Tim! Hopefully you will pwn even harder on CSS now :D

Deffo get some cable tidying on the go, you'll be thankful when it's done + better airflow may help your gfx card!

Yeah ive sorted most of it now.

Ive also stopped ocing the graphics card to see weather i was pushing it too far.

Ive also gone to 3-4-4-8 2T timmings just incase, as 250fsb on value ram is a lot at 3-4-4-7 2T.

Fingers crossed its stable...

Edit: It just rebooted on me, so i thought maybe its not a hardware issue, looked in my error log and the error was a DCOM error. Ive disabled it and just about to reboot now.

Right rebooted, lets see if it's stable...

It wasnt, right enabled DCOM again, the service that was conflicting was windows live messenger, so tbh its been uninstalled, so hopefully no more reboots...

Ok had to reinstall the ATI drivers :( now lets hope everything is fine and dandy.

Its Bank Hol Hyper u wont get ur stuff 2day :( fingers crossed for tomorrow.

oo and im back at 3-4-4-7 2T it seams more stable (i dont know why).

OOOOOO GOD I HATE PC's! *sigh* Keeps rebooting on me while in css. i can feel a format comming...

Edit: I think ive sorted it, im at 3-4-4-8 2T with the lastest BIOS now, and sorted the vcore out and im yet to have any probs :) lets hope it stays that way!

W00t a day stable :) yey for me

Silly TIMMY forgot to connect the 5v/12v power to give extra juice to the PCI-E slots, and now it seems my radeon likes the oc, getting up to a 682 core and 1566 memory :)

Upped the cpu and ram slightly too :)

Ok, I was bored this morning, and decided to dive into the BIOS again. I set most of the ram timings to 'Auto' and the DRAM Speed to 'Slow', and bam.... my opty is at 2.80GHz and ram at 254FSB @ 3-4-4-7 but still at 2T and Single Channel.

I still can not get dual channel to post or 1T to post in single channel. Does anyone know which ram timings apply to these to I can have more of a fiddle.

u will need to bust out the VOLTS to get her to 3ghz

my X2 can hit 2.6-2.8 with 1.45 but i can't hit 3ghz even with 1.5volts and ram well below stock

well we will soon see :P

Edit: Ok 3Ghz was a no go, didnt want to put more than 1.45v through it tbh. Well a 2.8GHz on stock v isnt bad :)

had to drop the ram to 3-4-4-8 as well.

ok timmy has bought the best stepping 3700 off ebay, so lets hope that i get it and it sorts my prob out and it will oc to a 2.8.

Ive got 1T and Dual Channel with the Athlon 64 3700 :) yey, currently Priming @ the settings that ive changed to (CPU 2.8GHz 255FSB, Ram 3-4-4-8 1T Dual Channel 255FSB).
