Time to oc my phenom (again)

hey peeps,time to start OCin the phenom again i have just been informed upping the multi and the cou volts is not the best way to OC.and as i have never played with RAM or anything else so one needs your help.

temps at load is around 45c-50c so i still got abit of headroom,plus they might not be the right volts but i dont no.

my rig is in my sig and ile post some screenys of cpu-z for you guys,also i dont no were the divider is for the memory

not got a aim just as high as i can get with a good mix of speed and temps

much more u planning to get outta it man? 2-300 ur really not gonna notice it id try and refine what u have by uppin bus and dropping the multi and gettin the volts as low as u can get them?

probly around 3.6 or 3.7

but yes a mixture of upping the bus and getting the temp and volts down would be awsome.

id drop the volts then run a 10 pass LinX max ram or run the smp to check for stability

what program should i use and to what volts.

i would like ti mix up the multi and BUS tho

EDIT-found linX what problem size and RAM should i have or leave it a default

whitch is 10000 and 772mb

well drop the multi 1 and then make up the bus for the same speed then drop the volts one drop in the bios then download LinX

I'd leave it alone dude tbh. 3.5 is 100mhz shy of the 3.6. And with such a tiny increase you won't see any results.

EDIT-right the options you gave step dont work my rig wont boot.

so after the CMOS reset,i left the RAM at auto but changed the RAM volts to 2.1 (like they was)

now it will let me boot at the other settings.

right so i upped the BUS to 215 but for some reason it was taking my cpu volts up aswell even tho i had them set in the BIOS.

also i could not get the RAM to run at 1066 nativly evrytime i did i got a no restart
