So you guys may have noticed there have been a lot of things going on around OC3D recently, James the founder of OC3D decided to sell up and leave a few months ago selling to a large forum & website developer Andy from SK.
Andy is an immensely successful business man buying websites building them up and selling them on with a very tight well oiled business plan. Streamlining the sites, maximising revenue and there for increasing the value of the sites and forums.
Problems was OC3D is very hands on with its advertisers and vendors. The reason the site is doing so well is Ive spent an insane amount of time building relationships with members of the industry to the point Id class many of them as close friends. The way we do things and the way Andy's business strategy is built apon is very different.
After some lengthy discussions explaining why it may actually end up harming this site Andy realised I have a deep rooted passion for both the work side of the site but OC3D as a whole. Theres so much gone on behind the scenes Im happy that none of you need to know about but we will leave it at I was just used and lied to for a long time. I have been offered jobs else where left right and centre and always turned them down in favour of the blue team. I did always wonder why but now I know what fate had in store for me.
Andy put an amazing deal on the table to enable me to buy OC3D outright, its not a small amount of money by any sense of the imagination. Short of buying a house or a brand new Ferrari Im never likely to be spending this much money again! But the faith Andy see's in me means so much and its the first time anyone has ever really shown me this kind of trust and commitment.
So I formed Time To Live Media, in name its still in honour of my late mum and I dont think I could of called it anything else seeing as it was that moment in my life that set me on this new path.
So today the 1st of December 2012 is the first day of the rest of my life, but dont go thinking this is all about me. I need all of you to help me with this too. Its time to get things flowing again at OC3D and that means us, yes us, YOU, me and the team at OC3D all working together to show why we love this site so much.
So VonBlade, G-Dubs, BigIan88, Sub, and of course me tinytomlogan will be working our arses off both with reviews but also behind the scenes because we have a lot we need to get back to 100% and a whole host of new features to get sorted to try and make your time here at OC3D even better. Without this awesome team I would never have even given buying the site a second thought. Im a very lucky man to have such an awesome group of friends and in the case of VonBlade a man I literally regard as family, I think thats why when it comes down to it we work so well together and jump through hoops to make sure things get done..... As a team. (The A-Team)
Hopefully now you can understand why we have been a bit busy of late, its only going to get worse but we all feel that its going to be worth it.
