Several minor glitches -

1) forgot Tornado was routed under mobo and somehow managed to shred the wire ><

2) Heatsink came with no mounting screws, so went trawling hardware stores for 15mm M3 machine screws with no luck, got some 25mm and trimming them down now

3) Forced to stop to go and get a pie for dinner from Tesco

1) repaired fine

2) fucking piss...the screws ain't suposed to be M3...they don't screw into the fuckin backplate...lying Thermalright tossers...gotta find some that fit now ><

It takin me ages today...finally got the heatsink on after a lot of umming and ahhing over it...its stupidly tight down to the CPU, and the way it grates over the processor when you fasten it down...cackin myself...maybe its just me, used to vunerable exposed dies...the IHS thing is tougher I hope

You'll be hard pushed to damage the IHS....those things have a thick copper layer underneath the silver surface

Very much tougher is the IHS Damn near makes any proc indestructable as long as u don't fuck up the pins.
