Thoughts/ opinions on new build

Hello All,

I have been planning a new build but I have been a little dubious about my choices. Any feedback or options on the below build would be much appreciated.

Case = Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Acrylic
CPU = Intel i7 6700k
Motherboard = Asus Maximus VIII Hero
RAM = 16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 3000MHz (2x8GB)
GPU = ASUS Strix GTX 1060
CPU Cooler = Corsair H100i V2
PSU = Superflower Leadex GOLD 750W Fully Modular
SSD = Samsung 500GB 850 EVO
HDD = 3TB Western Digital Blue

Build will be mostly used for 1440p Gaming, and also for Work (Running a couple of VMs) and some Graphic Design work (Hobby)

Current Build Price is around £1400, budget up to £1500 if needed. No other peripherals or items are required as these are already acquired.

Any input would be appreciated.

I'd maybe stretch to a 1070 for 1440p, I think the 1060 is best for 1080p gaming.

Even with a 1080 750W for a psu is a bit overkill the 650W will also do the job.

Other than that, it's going to work perfectly
