Thoughts on the Fractal Arc Midi Case

Just looking for thoughts and idea on the aforementioned case.

I'm looking for as small as reasonably possible ATX case able to take the majority of popular hardware upgrades now and the future.

I just replied to your earlier posting for a small ATX case.

Have one myself. And i really like it.

Installed xspc rx240 750 rasa watercooling kit with no problems at all.

The bay pump and reservoir unit was able to fit nicely in the x2 optical bays with the tubing nicely? How is the foam filter on the top panel mesh area? Are you using push/pull as exhaust?

Bay res/pump fits between frontpanel and chassis, but i really like the look. The foamfilter is 3mm thick, and with the hexagon top it looks nice and tidy.

Only use push config,push/pull only possible with a thinner rad like rs240 i think.

Oh yeah, you're right. It sees like it will block out the CPU area once you try getting the tubing done right? I wonder if the foam filter at the top can be removed? If we were to use the top as exhaust ports, than it's not necessary to have the filter there.

Cheers man.

I think im gonna go for it, wont find another case which is atx and any smaller.

Plus I could even venture into w/c at some point!

Filter easily removes

You need some 45 and 90 degree fittings,to make tubing right and look tidy.

The quality is good,i can only recommend it.

You may want an extra 140mm fan in front, but its not necessary.

That's awesome. You'll definitely be happy with this case.

The only thing I would have been happy to see is if the side panel came with with the cover so that you have the option of not having it open if you don't have a fan in that area if you know what I mean?

i build a rig for a friend in it. pretty good case, fans are nice and quiet. The only issue i had was to remove the back panel. For some reason it was stuck real bad when i got the case and i almost had to use a crowbar to take it off. Guess it wasnt assembled correctly at the factory or something happened during the shipping but i got it eventually

Also using a Arc Midi Case, very very satisfied! Got my EK 240 watercooling kit fits nice, cable management fabulous!

thumbs up for ARC Midi!
