long long long time lurker, about 2 years, but finally decided to post,

Im a 20 something medical student based in London UK and been messing with computers since I was 5...yep 5 >_<. Was plugging away on my 386 with DOS by 6 on classics, still very much a classic gamer at heart and regualrily play a nic game of transport tycoon or syndicate .

Rig currently stands built by the wonderful lads at pcspecialist.co.uk as I didnt have the time to put it together 5months ago, wish i had now as have a

load of time on my hands again, alas, next time:

Cooled by a big fat Silent Knight II, doing nicely, keeps it at 45'c idle clocked at 3.4ghz. sounds alot but not sure the temp sensor in my cpu is right, so knock 10'c off.

Asus Striker II Formula

Asus Geforce 8800gts 512mb , looking to get a second (main reason decided to finally sign up) to SLI as theyre getting rare and I have the funds again

4gb 2x2gb of Crucial XMS2 ddr2

Sound Blaster® Audigy® SE with 7.1 Surround Sound, pumping thru a nice home theatre kit,

unknown 700w psu, really should find that out...

22inch widescreen dell monitor

running on 64bit vista, and actally loving it, works wonders for me

Anyways im here, will be around and try and post some more. And if anyones got an asus 8800gts 512mb give me a pm , (awaiting buy/seller board application)

hehe, i post on a few other forums and have been scared of adding a third to my repetoire, the other 2 already disolve days of my time too fast for my liking, however the atmosphere here is too friendly for my own good . Looking forward to learning stuff, although hard core overclocking aint my thing this websites still awesome

I too am a lurker, just got myself involved... I'm a Computer science Grad at Leicester and just got some funds for a new rig! Now looks like we need to get our post counts up to get some privileges like IM etc! 50 posts I think , feel free to spam my Intro post...... lol
