Think I've gone off gaming, Help me ! ^_^

Its because your not playing the right sort of game...you need GTA 5. There is no way you can't not play that game, it's just an epic all round fat 10/10.

That's great Shaun, but most of us here are PC gamers primarily. y'know, master race and all that ;)

I must say DayZ saved me from being bored of gaming ^_^. I find enjoying gaming comes in waves. For example I've been put off Team Fortress 2 for the time being as I've basically taken on a second job managing a competitive team (hence the OLG in my steam name). I know I'll be back on it in a few months time though.

I wouldn't say 30fps is unplayable, you can tell the difference between that and 60 yeah but it's not like god damn its stuttering. Its because your a PC guy and have no openness to try anything else.

It might come out on PC and your playing it at less than 30fps if it isn't optimized well. But you'll probably back it up because it's PC.

no i won't. L.A. Noire is locked at 30fps and i quit that game because the unlock fix just made everything worse.
i came from 250fps cod4 on a 144hz monitor and suddenly was looking at sub 30fps gameplay on a 60hz tv, it was awful.

Why did they lock it at 30fps? Thanks for reminding me though, I enjoyed that game but stopped playing it, need to get into it again.

At the moment i'm playing Black Flag on PC and GTA V on PS3, it's quite a contrast going from totally maxed out 1440p at solid 60fps to the 720p barely any AA 30fps of the PS3 but I would call it unplayable. I love GTA Online its great and I will always stand by it on any platform.

Like yourself sometimes I go off gaming and get more involved with playing with hardware but I think that might have something to do with the fact i'm just not that great at gaming. If I play online on PC with mouse and keyboard I get owned and feel pretty noobish but on PS3 I feel at least my combat skills (GTA) are on par with anyone and I can enjoy playing a more tactical higher level of game. Having played Assassins creed so far without my pad I think i'm improving a bit but I still think that's probably why I don't seriously game on PC, I do like looking at the pretty pictures in single player though lol. I would hate to be a total PC elitist, I enjoy playing on my PS3 and with my friends on their xbox's casually.

Just a suggestion from me maybe give Mafia II a shot? It doesn't look too dated and it's a really enjoyable story IMO and there's lots of DLC if you do find yourself getting caught up in the nostalgia.

I'm glad I don't completely have the hardware bug, that'd be an expensive addiction. I think consoles are great, it's just great putting a game in playing it and thats it and using the controller, I'm much more comfortable with a controller as well.

I agree with Mafia 2, I used to play that on PC, good game, still got good graphics as well, I think it has NVIDIA PhysX support also, I can think of one scene were you are all lighned up with Tommy guns shooting the crap out of this house, you can see where the PhysX would come in there, you see the building droppings to bits. Really awesome.

because the facial animations have been scanned at 30fps, so if you unlock the game those animations start glitching.

DON'T TEMPT ME FRODO !!! :p

wouldn't dream of trying to tempt you :)

what about the wii-u?

when looking at hardware the wii certainly takes last place
but i'd actually rather have a wii, no ps or xbox - not gonna get one though don't worry

the wii is just better for playing games when you have friends over
ps and xbox do what a pc does but worse
