The world has lost a true legend!

When substance use and depression are in the picture for the person dealing with it, It can be the hardest thing to seek help and the easiest and fastest route to get rid of the pain is THAT route and it's a problem which sadly cannot be cured in a quick fashion.
I know people who have gone through this type of thing and even to witness it is truly heart wrenching :(
Amen.
I've lost someone very close due to roughly the same problems that Williams had but I think this isn't the place to talk about it. Its horrible.

Robin's death is so bitter sweet.

His work was a huge part of my childhood particular favs being Jumanji and Hook (still by far the best peter pan movie ever) and it has bought back alot of fond memories of my brothers and I as kids running around the house screaming JUMANJI!!! hahaha.

But ultimately it has also reminded the world of how mental illness exists and can be just as deadly as the worst cancer. Which is a good thing because way to oftern mental illness is over looked, swept under the rug or only talked about in secret as if it is some sort of taboo.

Ultimately humans are walking talking chemistry sets. As soon as we have a chemical imbalance shit goes hay wire. Hopefully more people will recognize this and help those around them get things back into balance it's a shame his life has been lost but hopefully his death may save many lives.

I respect the man for his work.

I respect the man for memories his work created.

I respect the man for his sacrifice.

I respect the man for what his sacrifice will accomplish.

May he live on in our memories.
