The Witcher 3 has sold over 4 million Copies of the game in just 2 weeks.

I don't have to explain anything to someone like you who goes out looking arguments. Forums are not 100% debate everything. This forum doesn't run that way so don't bother changing it. Besides your so biased and ignorant of any other facts that arguing.. sorry.. debating, against you is like trying to convince a newborn infant to talk. Take that how you will, but continue on your quest for debating everything that is said and eventually everyone will block you. I'd advise you to stop. Don't bother replying to me in this thread.. I won't be coming back as you already derailed it enough.

That's your response when I show benchmarks and proved what you just said to be garbage. Well, look like I have found a resident troll.

Jimbo: don't like it, don't buy it, that simple. Why whine and cry about it like a 12 year old? 4 million people disagree with you, or don't give a rats bum about everything you posted. This is apparently still the best RPG in the past few years if you believe the hype/reviews, and is a GARGANTUAN open world game, which appeals to TONS of people (at least 4 million apparently). Some of us are concerned about playing a good game, nothing more. I don't care if something was promised and then pulled. If the game is as good as this one apparently is, I don't give a poo about stuff like that.

Not trying to be an ass or anything, but why whine in post after post about it? What does that get you? Are you surprised that companies who SELL things actually LIE to get that done? That's only been going on since the beginning of the human race. :D

I agree with this

Wow, have you even read my posts?
I said I was unhappy about the sales because of x, y, and z. People then said "Prove x, y, and z", to which I did (hence benchmark posts)....and now you post this.
If you don't care about marketing ethics then fair enough, but I think it is fair to allow me to disagree with you on that.

All this smacks of is a bunch of fans who can't take criticism and hate when someone actually points out that a purchase may not have been wise and then go berserk when the person adds facts to their argument.

many of us here just think that it is still a great game and don't care about the "false marketing"
It's not only about features a game has, it's all about the game.

Not a fan of this series Jim, since I only barely played 2 and haven't bought 3 yet. You did make me LOL with the phrase "marketing ethics" though. That might be the biggest oxymoron I've ever heard, right up there with "military intelligence". :D Marketing people are some of the lowest filth on this planet, only barely above pedophiles and rapists, and you expect them to have ethics? LOL!

Why would you be UNHAPPY with the sales of a GAME??!?! Really man, really?!? See this is why I NEVER get involved with game hype, EVER. I WAIT, read reviews, watch YT videos, forums, etc before I plunk down $70 on a game. Plus, I NEVER buy a game early. I ALWAYS give it a few months for the updates / bug fixes / GPU driver updates, etc. It's the early adopters that suffer the stuff you complain about, not people with patience. Stop pulling the trigger early on stuff like this and you'll be a happier man, trust me. :)

I doubt it dude.

You tend to come across as very angry and aggressive, so don't be upset if people don't read your posts properly. It just seems that you want to disagree and argue with every one just for the sake of it.

I'm not saying don't put your point across, but you need to learn to do it, draw a line under it and leave it there. Not continue to force your point across, it just annoys people.

I don't know how old you are but you really need to learn to pipe down a bit and come off of the aggressive stance you have. Chill dude.

Oh and P.S. I really don't appreciate you leaving childish messages on my profile. This time I deleted it before I reported it but next time I will leave it there and report it. Stalking is for w**kers mate.

Actually I DID read them, and they were nonsensical whining, looking for a fight to pick. That's how I interpreted them. It just comes across as Jimbo being angry because 4 million people bought a game that HE doesn't like.

Even if you agreed with him he would find something to disagree with.

And this is why EA and Ubisoft are pushing tons of DLC, buggy games, and rehashes etc. Its called setting a precedence and I don't want gaming to get even worse. I guess that didn't cross your mind as I'm not aboard the hype train.

So benchmarks, company strategies, and technical details are nonsensical? Don't bother replying.

I'm happy to debate anything as long as it is a debate rather than people hurling abuse or instantly calling others a troll for not going with the general consensus. I'm use to a mature office environment where anyone can speak their opinion and chat about it. People forget this is a forum and not an echo chamber, ergo its for debate. If someone says something, be willing to discuss it, not shout them down.

As for the PM, it was a fair point and in an office you know you wouldn't have said what you did.

Don't compare the guys that make the Witcher series to EA or UbiGarbage. Not fair at all. And no, you ARE on the hype train, otherwise you wouldn't be crying like an immature child about a game that just got released, nor would you be crying about a companies supposed "broken promises" about a game that was released very recently.
So benchmarks, company strategies, and technical details are nonsensical? Don't bother replying.
I'll bother, because I'm drinking and this is funny. :D You ARE nonsensical. Did this company GUARANTEE that these features that only a HYPE guy would care about aren't included in the final release? NO, they didn't. Have you even played the game? Or are you like certain other uber-nerds who are so into "Witcher-gate" that logic and common sense completely fail you, without even playing W3 to see if it's a good game?

PLUS, and this is a key point: look at the thread title you're whining in. Wraith makes an article about W3 sales, and THIS is where you start your crying? Please man, if you wanted to cry, you could have made your own thread about it. Now I'm just as bad as you for participating in this troll crap that you started, no argument there. But I'm working on a bottle of wine, so that's acceptable to me. :D

Most of us work in mature office environments, and in said environment you don't see adults whining about video game publishers, like that's any surprise. Jim, the point here is your whining is IN THE WRONG PLACE. This thread isn't the place for it. As I said, I'm as guilty as you for participating in your obvious trolling, but this is my amusement for the evening since there's no hockey tonight and I chose to abuse my liver with cheap wine. :)

Alright guys this isn't the thread to discuss the purpose of a forum or office behaviour.
Keep it on topic and remove the personal attacks. If you're unhappy please report it.

EDIT: Guys if you keep posting off-topic posts they will just be deleted.
