This could be a hint of how hard these games will be to run.
Can't see B.A.K being that hard to run though as it's on the same engine as Arkham Origins.

I could have told you this without any inside knowledge. CD Projekt RED loves to make their games as best and refined as they can be. They supported both Witcher games for almost 2 years after release. And they also talked about Dx12 a while ago like they knew what they were talking about. They were toying with it back then. It was obvious to me that they'd upgrade The Witcher 3 with Dx12 at some point.
I can't say I thought about Batman, but it also doesn't surprise me. Rocksteady is also known for their love of refining their games and including all the latest and greatest tech, especially when somebody pays them. So Microsoft probably payed them.

I just want TW3, I've had it pre-ordered through Steam for months ^_^
I'm waiting for the email from GoG and I'll hit that download button so damn hard I'll need a new keyboard. It's in my library just frustrating that there is no download button especially as they claim the game is finished and ready.

Speaking of Projekt RED..

Cyberpunk 2077 anyone?

Wonder if they broke any NDAs:p

Although i'm super fucking excited! Freaken loved witcher 2. Can't wait for the 3rd. I got the game for $7 and it's sitting in my steam library... amount of times i stare at it waiting for some optional preload lol. Also with DX12 hopefully it helps my old 7950 out.. debating if we should start some Benchmarks for the game and then after DX12 support we all jump to W10 and benchmark again with proper drivers and see the difference. Would be bloody awesome

I played around 2 hours of TW1, 3 of TW2 and with TW3 coming out in like a month I think I need to get my arse into gear and complete the first 2 ^_^

Skip the first and play the 2nd... 10 hours into the 1st i gave up.. sooo boring. It's after the first part its good according to everyone, but the 2nd sums everything up nicely and explains a few things.. can't remember off the top of my head because its been over a year since i last played it fully:p

Also download some mods for the witcher 2.. i got some unlimited weight mods and some money mods. Honestly those are lifesavers. Money is super hard to come by and the mods help make it easier but not cheating. Otherwise you'll be stuck with low level gear till high levels... also now i remember to get a skill mod to get more skills per level.. otherwise you'll never be able to unlock all the skills making each choice pretty damn important. Only recommending it because you have limited time to play it otherwise i'd say don't use it:)

Awesome thanks dude :)

I enjoyed both games, looking forward to being able to play 3, GTA has kept me busy till then might do a quick run through before 3 comes out id say id stream it but i play every inch of the games, probs 12-16 hours a game lol.

I hope they don't do a control overhaul again... was frustrating going from 1 to 2, i could not do the first fight as i was in W1 mode lol.

Its cool games are already listing that they will run/support this.
But i hope its not like mantle, which sorta run but then needed more time.

Keep in mind that the gains from DX12 are primarily CPU not GPU.

In some aspects yes but it also allows for far higher draw calls which makes gains in both areas as the CPU can send more work and the GPU can do more work faster. Now does that translate to raw FPS increase i don't know.

If the game was CPU bound yes.
