You need to remember that resolution is just a number, just like FPS is just a number.

Remember 30FPS is better for that cinematic feel, 60 FPS is inferior for the look they are going for.

Ok, now with the jokes aside, given the witcher 3 is looking to be a single player graphical showcase we will likely see a reslution and/or a framerate drop to gain those visuals. That being said 60fps 1080p could be possible, but is unlikely.

Witcher 2 barely runs at 60 fps on high settings on my rig, so a PS4 should have troubles running that game at 60fps 1080p. No way it will be able to cope with Witcher 3.

Yeah, just saw the t-shirt on LinusTech, so i couldn't resist joking like that.

We can always hope for a coding miracle, but I am quite certain that it will run at 30 on consoles.

I play at 1440p now, and do like to keep my framerate at 60, no need to slap some sense into me lol.

Not yet but they said a while ago that you are going to need a highend PC to max it.
