The Witcher 3, An Open World on Fire

Thanks for the update SieB. I've not been following any developments with the game so it was good to see some more content.

From the gameplay video, the particle effects look fantastic.

That seems obvious. :p Wonder what they mean 'high-end' though.

Hopefully it will be possible on a current single card 290/x or 780/Ti :p

it is a Nvidia optimized game though, so it will probably run better on Nvidia cards. If the new 880 is faster than the 780Ti that will most likely be the best card for the job.

Just a thought. You never know. Imagine if they did though. :(

They've always stayed true to their promises and downgrading the graphics will be extremely detrimental to their image. With all of the facts in place, it's extremely unlikely we'll see anything like that from CDProjekt.

Knowing them though, they'll have a setting (e.g. Ubersampling in The Witcher 2) that'll make high-end GPU's perform like crap.

I still haven't even done more than an hour of gameplay in witcher 2.. I need to play it but i never do:p

I recommend using the input lag fix if you are playing with mouse, it's kinda hard to find cause most of the uploads have been taken down for some reason.

I uploaded it to mega if someone wants to give it a try: Witcher2 input lag and Virustotal
Just throw it in the Witcher2/bin folder and it should work just fine
Edit: Just noticed i had the FPSlimit at 144 on the cfg, so you might wanna change that if you are running with 60/120hz

Was just about to post this myself :)
I can't contain the hype, this game is looking better and better all the time.

Well if that video was played on XBone(assuming so with the A button appearing) then all i can say is wow. It looks fantastic and i can't wait to see what it looks like on PC. Might need a new GPU for once..

And your 100% it's not PC footage, using a 360 Controller?
