The Thick-Hide HP Mini 5101

Seems as tho "Mini" is the new tag a few manufacturers are looking to use for their 10.1 netbooks.

I have tbh, these do not appeal to me whatsoever. I appreciate that looking at a screen with almost an inch border around it was very nice in the 90s, chuck in a few bits of modern tech and u can surf the net and do email if ur phone isn't up to it.

Their saving grace is I've noticed a sub £200 market for netbooks like these. Being fair, that's about right.

I'd still prefer a laptop to work on and a phone to do on-the-go stuff. The marketing idea of something in the middle doesn't do it for me. Be good war-driving tools I guess.

Every1 has different tastes tho, that's what's so great about the world - aint it.

The 2 models VJ907AA @ $399 with the FM955UT $125 more, at the time of reading. Which is wierd as they're both spec'd identically.

Those at that source tho think it's an error on HP's part.
