Hi folks here are some pics of a rather different type of build This is my version of a Steam Box.
This as im sure you can see is a Steampunk mod and we will be going back in time hope you all like.
Hardware:
AMD A10 7850K
AsRock FM2A88X-itx+
Palit GTX 670
4 Gb OCZ Gold Ram
Corsair Force GS 128Gb x 2 Raid 0
PSU Silverstone SFF 450w 80+ Gold
EK Water Blocks for the cooling need some fans and and a pump and more fittings
I have stripped the rad back to the metal and exposed the copper and will paint the rest of it with some of my new paints i have picked up today the 6th March and also now painted the back plate for the GFX and the CPU Block brackets with antique copper and gold pics to follow once they are dry.
Also now painting the EK fittings and will get as many pics as i can to show you all.
Ordered a pump and another Res more fittings and the PSU today also a new CPU.
Given some real thought about the tubing and liquid color the loop is not going to be the most efficient i have built but there will be a lot of angles and and plenty of copper and brass colors. i have also decided to that this has to me own vision of steampunk i know there is much debate about what is and is not allowed on thing for certain is i will not be gluing gears on to things everything is there for a reason and i am leaning towards the liquid being the source of the power like the whale oil in Dishonored if this is not true Steampunk then fair enough all we can do is let the mod roll on and see what happens.
