I got my PSP a few days ago and loving it, got the firmware down to 1.5 and on thursday I'll be ebaying a nice 1gb memory stick for music and videos :)

So what cool things on PSP do you know about?

I wouldn't mind one of these, they seam quite tidy. Excep the games are expensive.

You going to try and get windows on it:D?
 
Ye I got's a PSP w/1GB SanDisk Memory Stick Duo. It's a great unit, I highly reccomend Ridge Racer & GTA Liberty City Stories for it :).

I run Firmware v2.71, the newest. You can download free game demo's off PSP's site, on the PSP, and play them w/that firmware. :D

1.5 is a good version, I'm just wondering if its really worth staying on it though, There's been talk of Sony releasing a IM service to cater for MSN, AIM, ICQ accounts. The only thing that I do on homebrew is run emulators and use the IM service.. No doubt there will be somethign that tricks games into thinking theres the latest Firmware running :)

1.5 is staying for the time being..
 
Well this is called the psp thread. So im gonna be lazy and just ask with no research.

How do they connect to the interweb exatcly?
 
So wireless-a/b/g, bluetooth, N, Hell, even pre-N?

Saying the connect by wierless is about as useful as ninitendos 'wifi' advert.
 
I love my PSP :D

I'm not bothered with the homebrew stuff and use it mainly for movies etc.

Got a few games on it - GTA, Fifa, Pro Evo, Virtua Tennis, Tony Hawks etc, but I've been watching loads of Top Gear episodes recently.

NO WAREZ CHATTER CHRIS, THATS ILLEGAL!

DVD's, I rip using DVD Shrink, then drop the .vob file into PSPWare and it converts over...so thats TV shows and movies to watch on the train...excellent :yumyum:
 
My PSP has AMAZING wireless reception. I have this place called Computer Emergency Room, that's about a street away and down some, prolly 4-6 minutes walking time at a comfortable pace. I picked up THEIR signal with my PSP. I also picked up some other weird ones I've never seen before.

I have to say, the wireless in the PSP kicks, though it sucks up battery life. Thank god you can turn it off when not using it.

Other way around, black shows it more easy then white :) What does not show them at all ;)
 
Its the same principle as owning a black car... They show smudges and crap 10x more than a white car.
 
Yep, mate of mine has a nice little punto in black that looks permenently drity, even after he washes it.
 
Haha don't get me started on car cleaning cos I'll bore you all to death!

I'm more of a car nut than anything else and spend most Sundays washing cars :D

To get the black to look nice, he'll need some Instant Show Shine from Autogylm. It'll really bring it up well and is the stuff they use at motor shows :)
