The Official Intel Core 2 Duo Conroe Overclocking Thread

I will stick some screenies up when i get a chance but i have to Conroe's running well above the standard clock.

E4300 running at 3.3ghz on a AW9D-Max running around 34-40c

E2140 running at 2.4ghz in my Media PC on cheap PC2-6400!

Phunky, What cooling does the E4300 have? Because that is a very impressive overclock. I bet it performs well! :)

Erm well i was running that on stock for a while but then switched to a Noctua NH-U12F but my temps didnt drop that much.

Im sure i could squeeze a little more out of it if i wanted to but its nice and stable at this speed and i dont really see any gains in CS so not much point!

Mate, I answered this in your other thread!

A key on your keyboard - Print Scrn (usually resides on the 'F' key row).

Get everything you want in your screen shot loaded up on your screen.

Press 'Print Scrn'.

Open MS paint (comes with windows ;))

Press Ctrl and V to paste captured image.

File > Save As > Name the file, select .jpeg as the format.

Done.

Upload image using OC3D upload server - that is on the bar with User CP etc.

Let me know if you need more help.

Just to add to Mr Smiths last, you might need to open the program a couple of times to get the different views at te same time - mem and cpu etc

Can someone pls tell me if this is a good clock

Conroe E6750 retail:3.60ghz (450mhz*8)@1.475Vcore 2.0 FSB Gigabyte G33m s2 Artic cooler pro 7

can someone pls tell me if this is a good clock as not sure how far dominator xms 6400 memory will clock too???

many thanks in advance

mark

Hi im new here but this forum has been a great help for a beginner like myself I got my E6600 stable at 3.0Ghz but anything over that doesent work so i have a question for kitfit1 or whoever knows i have a Gigabyte 965P-DS4 mobo with F10 BIOS but i dont have these options

DRAM Timing Selectable (SPD)........ - Manual

CAS Latency Time.................... - 4

DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay............. - 4

DRAM RAS# Precharge................. - 4

Precharge Delay (tRAS).............. - 12

ACT to ACT Delay (tRRD)............. - Auto

Bank Write to READ Delay............ - Auto

Write to Precharch Delay............ - Auto

Refresh to ACT Delay................ - 0 (Auto)

Read to Precharge Delay............. - Auto

Memory Performance Enhance.......... - fast

just check my comp specs if you need any aditional info any help would be nice, thanks beforehand.

actually just got it up to 3.2Ghz stable but since i cant change the timings they are not good 5-5-5-18, i think the bios sets them for me.

I atleast want 4-4-4-12.
