well here is the best overclock i can get on this asus although i might be able to get it higher if the master lourne wants to help me .

Athlon 64 3500+ Venice E3

Clock: 2.55Ghz

FSB: 232MHz

Mem. Timings: 3-3-3-8

CPU Voltage: 1.55v-1.6

Mem. Voltage auto

Load Temp: 52°c

No Load Temp: 37c

Cooling: XP120 + Panaflo

Super Pi 1M: 37 seconds

Please provide pix/screenies etc and give us some basic information about your setup at the time of posted overclock. Here are some examples of good things to post: FSB, voltage, mem timings, 1mb Super Pi time, 3dMark scores, temps, cooling, etc...

Thats quite odd raging.

Heres mine (pretty much from memory):

Athlon 64 3500+ (Newcastle)

Clock: 2.4Ghz

FSB: 220MHz

Mem. Timings: 3-3-3-8

CPU Voltage: 1.50-1.56v

Mem. Voltage auto

Load Temp: 42°c

No Load Temp: normaly 30c, currently 22c for some reason.

Cooling: Evo33

Super Pi 1M: 36 seconds

I can get it up to 2.5 on a mem divider no probelem. What i find odd is my super pi is on 36s, while yours is 38:s. Ill try and get a pic posted now.

Well, both of you are plain weird and are benching superpi with WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many processes going. Should get rid of all unnecessary processes and explorer.exe to get a proper score.

WC, i have 2 programs running when i run superpi. ZA and my wireless utility. thats it.

Then why such a full taskbar (unless of course you ran the superpi on a previous date?)? Even if you don't think programs are running, they are still there. I see prime95, msn messenger, etc etc etc. and as I said, also take down explorer.exe. But yes, take down EVERYTHING that is unnecessary. That includes your wireless app, any antivirus spyware stuff, EVERYTHING, for an accurate superpi score. If you don't want any crap coming in, just don't be connected to the internet at the time.

yeah it was run on a previous date. All thoughs things you see are temps and speeds from everest m8. Also ive never run prime95 in my life:S. Mite be ZA:SS your seeing?

Run it again, with everything closed down, see if you can get a better time and you see prime95 idling right next to msn messenger in that pic (unless of course, that pic isn't your system).

It goes MSn, Vcore, CPU fan speed, HDD temp 1, HDD temp 2, GPU temp, CPU temp, Mobo temp, ZA then wireless stuff.

Well heres mine, been running it for over 6 months now with no problems at all.

AMD Opteron 146 1.8ghz stock, now @ 2.8ghz on stock volts.

Corsair Value Selec 2x1gb @ 254mhz

Not bad as i picked it up for £40 (props to hyper for that).

May push for more tomorrow...
