Idle Low: 32 degrees

Idle High: 39 degrees

Load Low: 47 degrees

Load High: 69 degrees (bad I know...but that's on the highest prime95 and intel burn test settings, gaming for hours and I only hit around 45 degrees).

Overall not a bad clock. But I would like to go higher.

Hi

First real go at overclock, so very happy.

AMD Phenom IIx6 1090 @ 4003.5MHz

Volts Bios 1.372 Cpu-z 1.42

Asus Crosshair IV Formula

Noctua NH D14

Got my new TRUE 120 today. Going to give that a try on the 940 and see what I can get .... BUS speed O/C is really letting me down on this M/B though

Hi i'm new here thought i would share what i managed to get:)

MSI 870a Fuzion

AMD Phenom ii x4 965 BE (can do 4GHz on 1.48/1.49v, but i usually just run it at 3.5GHz as it only needs 1.28/1.29v and it's loads cooler, just as fast in games and the clock down thing still works) I did sort of cheat because it was all done with the multiplier but hey i got 4GHz out of it:)

All the clocks that i got were stable with 4 hours of Prime95.

Cooled with a Titan Fenrir, less bulky than the D14 cools enough for me.

The Fenrir is a good cooler. Cheap and efficent. I use the Ultra 120. Good pieces of kit ...

Have been playing around with the computer recently. Have settled on this overclock running 24/7.

O/C'd using 240*16 = 3840Mhz @ 1.45v

The motherboard finally stopped messing me around and let me increase the bus speed as and when I wanted. I'm glad I'm finally doing some "proper" overclocking.

have you got the normal OR power edition?

I've got my AMD Phenom II X4 955 humming along rock solid at 4GHz 1.45v, I also got it to geekbench at 4.5GHz, got it to boot at 4.6 but I didn't want to raise the voltage too much so didn't go any further.

4GHZ Overclock Prime 95 stable...

4.5GHZ overclock Geekbench results... http://browse.geekbench.ca/geekbench2/view/377271

Also got my old Phenom II X3 720 to 3.6GHZ Stable, also unlocked it stable and clocked it at 3.4GHZ

It would run geekbench at 3.7GHZ but it wasn't really that stable unlocked past 3.4

Hey guys,

I've been a LONG time reader/viewer of TTL. I just, finally, signed up for the forums. Here's my AMD overclocked specs.

FX 8120 @ 4.2 GHZ w/ Corsair H100 w/ Noctua NFP12 fans ( I tried the Cougar PWM vortex fans but they howl like mad when mounted horizontally )

I haven't pushed my chip any further yet, but I'm sure I could. I will update here with my max OC when I do it soon.

1.325 volts

Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste

Max Temps: 58 C

Idle Temps: 30-32 C
