The OC3D Invasion of i37

After a chatbox/MSN discussion, it has been decided that OC3D shall invade i37 in style. :)

Tickets will be around £66 for a few weeks with an early bird discount, and should be available from tomorrow.

Dates: 7th August - 10th August

Who's attending (highly likely anyway):

We're also having a collection to raise money for a flight for monkey to get over to the UK, if he can make it. :)

According to EasyJet, flights will be about €65, but we're not sure yet - if we can get 10 people going then that's only £5 each.
 
I hope they have a WiC tourney... I won't be bringing my usual World in Conflict partner in crime, but I am sure I can find someone to pwn with :D About the only game I am "good" at, that and CS, need to practise over the summer! And buy more games
 
W000t we need OC3D shirts. TTL, could you talk about that with your shirt supplier?

Won't be able to take my own rig tho, I don't think 30kg is allowed on a plane flight :p Will have to get a rig somewhere else... Anyone got a spare budget rig?

EDIT: what's the date exactly?

It's a weekend. You can rent a PC there, I think it's about £20 more.
 
Well the 20 pounds would be an easy save if someone has an extra rig. I don't have the money lying all over the place.

... Should find some very lightweight case allowing me to take my own rig with me :p

Edit: friend standing behind me: fill the bag with helium...
 
I have an extra sff rig...not sure what gpu it will have by then. Might be best to ask closer to the time :P
 
Im at I36 now guys.. will deffo get sorted for I37..

Im TTL's supplier to so what we need are some logos sorting.

Zak I am traveling 700 miles to and back in a car with a mate, I am sure a train will be easy enough, surely they are not booked out already... I find that hard to beleive

I've just tried on virgin and you can't book more than 12 weeks in advance, which means they aren't booked at all.
 
Well my mate is a more deffinite yes, she offered to drive which is a plus as I would have only been driving a few months assuming I pass. I buy her ticket, she buys the fuel :D

Any idea what games are being played, and who is good at what? We need to make OC3D proud! :D

but i find gaming for long periods boring now and a strain on the eyes etc.

maybe im just getting old lol

I haven't been to a iSeries event since i28.. man some good times with Graeme from KustomPCs and some users on the forums... some lunacy I tell thy.
 
Quick question, if I was to attend this with oc3d members, would I be expected to represent oc3d in the games I entered ?
 
Your choice I guess. If you have a clan you want to represent while gaming that'd be okay to me, and I guess it's the same with others.

And indeed the question: what games will be played? I will have to train for this :D
