The New Retina Display MacBook Pro

I could have sworn that they made the 15" models at 1080p last gen...
It would be interesting to see a comparison between the old 1080p and the new retina. The 1920x1200 on my MBP looked, to me, just as sharp as the new laptops.

The last gen MBP 15 came in 1440x900 or the 'Hi-Res' 1680x1050. The 17 came in 1920x1200. As for sharpness, view them in person at an Apple store and you can notice a difference imho, or maybe it's all a placebo.

Ah, my mistake. I'll bring my laptop to the Apple store the next time I go, see of I can see any remarkable difference.
