The main rig of 2017.

About 3½ week ago I gave up 3-way SLi which I happily and trouble free had been using since 2009, but nVidia decided to end this adventure with no official 3 way SLi support for Pascal, so therefore I'm down to two graphics cards.
Fortunately the replacement for the 3x GTX 980Ti's are 2x GTX 1080Ti's which are capable of just edging out the 3 old high-end cards ^_^

Looks good dude (other than the psu)

iF YOU WANT TO TIDY THE WHITE CPU FAN CABLES UP, TUCK THEM ACTUALLY BEHIND THE MOBO AND THEN JUST POP UP FOR THE FAN HEADERS ;)

Just noticed caps lock. bah. CBA to type it again :p

Badly needs a PSU shroud and combs. Looks decent though :)

Yea it would be nice, unfortunately I don't have the tools to make one :)

Yea I know the PSU isn't the prettiest any more, but it has served me well in all my 3 way SLi setups since 2009 :)
Actually when building the PC I had "retired" the PSU and got an EVGA Supernova 1200 P2, but for reasons I just couldn't figure out my system ran very unstable with that PSU when pushed hard in benchmarks and oc (oc'ed cpu and 3x oc'ed 980Ti's). So I RMA'ed the PSU and took the Toughpower out of retirement, installed it in the system and everything ran smooth as silk.... since I had a running and super stable system, I sold the EVGA Supernova 1200 P2 replacement PSU I recieved from RMA.... it's not pretty but it certainly does the job :)

Btw good tip regarding those fans wires ! I'll look into that :D

Btw.2 Really enjoyed your Asus GTX 1080Ti SLi review - it really gave me something to compare results with ! Top notch :D

Rig looks good! I hope there is a dust filter on that bottom fan...especially with the tower sitting on the floor..

There is no worries :)

I like the rig other than the PSU "get a Superflower in there fella ;)"

It'll get replaced when X299 gets around... but it won't be untill late this year, because I promised the misses that the savings are going towards our wedding in 4months :D

Niice, how much did all of that cost you? I'm looking into getting something similiar in the next month.
