I thought NL would be further ahead.
I pay 17€ for 20 hours and 22 GB data.
The hours can be used within the EU, and 6 GB of data within other EU countries.

Must be nice. It's like $60 to get unlimited talk/text/data in the US but after like 10GB(depends on carrier) they throttle you down to 3G speeds.

Finally I found it. Something that is made with absolutely no compromise and no sacrifice. None. Not designed to be a "instant gratification" thing that every one can afford, and thus you feel privileged to own. Truly a magnificent frame, the likes of which I have only had once before for a few months before it was stolen /very angry face.

My 32" Samsung 4K Quantum Dot VA monitor arrived a few hours ago, Elite Dangerous now is a whole other animal, Performance with Vega64 is brilliant, Never dips below 60FPS but the detail, Holy hell, Bleeding gorge !!!!

I noticed you talking about Elite Dangerous in various threads over the last few weeks and then saw the base game for £9 so thought I'd give it a go.

HOLY CRAP is this game fun! I started playing it last night and was hooked. Didn't realise it had got to 01:30 in the morning before turning it off (and even then I didn't want to). I was late for work because I overslept, hehe.

I can't put my finger on why it's so fun. I don't have VR or a flight stick but I am playing it at 28" 4K on a Vega 56 with an Xbox One pad. In theory it shouldn't be a fun experience. When I try and explain it to people it sounds boring but it all just seems to work together in way that makes time fly like no other game I've played in the last few years.

Seriously, thank you! If not for you talking about this game I wouldn't have taken the plunge. I'm already planning to get the Horizons package and a decent HOTAS set-up at some point.

I'm looking forward to it. I'm still getting a handle on it all. I've primarily been doing data running just to practice approaching stations at supercruise (I either slow down too early or completely overshoot).

I got enough money to buy an Eagle, so I did. Probably a bad idea but it looked cool so meh. Hopefully tonight I'll step-up to learning about trading proper (this is why the Eagle was probably a bad idea) and maybe attempt some combat.

When in super cruise keep it at full throttle until you are 7 seconds out, Then drop it down to zero and up the throttle just before it hits the little blue zone on the indicator, Drop out of SC once you are 999KM away or less

On a side note, ED in 4K is bleeding gorgeous ^_^

Yes. Yes it is. A 4K monitor wasn't ever part of my upgrade plan but a colleague offered me a Samsung U28E590D for £150 to be paid over three months. Couldn't say no really.

My Vega 56 struggles with some games but eats others for breakfast. Thankfully 1440p upscaled looks pretty good for the games that can't run at native 2160p with a decent framerate. Thankfully ED does and I couldn't be happier. Seriously haven't been this happy with a game for at least 18 months.

Went out for a ride on my yellow bike yesterday. Only rode about 2 miles, but decided to do the first half standing. Bloody hell my legs went to jelly lmao. Arse hurt too.

Can't wait to finish ^ that one. That will be my rider. Got a much wider seat for it.

Every year I buy a New Year's lottery ticket, but this year I decided to invest those €30 in a cryptocurrency called Verge (XVG). I bought a bunch at 5¢ each a few days ago...

We've already seen a high of 28¢, but it dropped a bit because of Bitcoin. It has potential to go much higher, though. Best decision I've made in a while. Guess I'm getting a nice bottle of champagne this New Year's Eve.

One thing I hate about BMX is the price of a good wheel set. It is preposterous. Seriously, you are looking at over £200 for a back wheel and £150 for a front wheel. So it was no surprise I was elated when I secured these for £100. Front is brand new, rear is brand new sans the hub which is used.

Front is a Shadow Superstar hub laced to a Shadow Orbis rim and rear is Proper Bike Co laced to a used Salt Plus hub.

They are going on my GT Speed Series. The bike I have had for six weeks and already ridden more than any of my other bikes combined

Wow been a while. I gotta say I've been quite happy since I went back on Citalopram. Crap load of anxiety, but that was to be expected I guess. Any way, few things are amazing right now.

I got home last night and went to bed early (around 7) and watched some TV. Got up this morning to find a very official looking letter on the door mat. It is my divorce decree. Unless any one turns up at the court house on April 19th I will be divorced as of that date. Well, I kinda am now having the decree but it will be final then. Thank god. The crap this has caused.. My mother has had to completely change her will and everything. I will be very happy when it's over.

My headphones arrive tomorrow too via DPD, so plenty of celebrating lol.

Now just want some nice weather. Please

Yup, same for me man. It just heightens my anxiety is all. I can live with that, especially alone. Very difficult having some one bullying you all the time. That is the difference. My ex said to me "Ever since you went on those Venlaflaxine it changed you" and she was right, it did. I didn't have the patience to put up with her nonsense, nor did I have the anxiety that would have usually made me back down. So I guess if anything positive came out of that (the Venlaflaxine) it got me to stand up for myself and get rid of her.

I only stopped Citalopram because she was whining it lowered my sex drive. So again, dictated to by her without a care in the world for my happiness.

Not really digging the "Sleep all of the time" thing really. I slept 13 hours last night and 12 the night before. Hoping I can get out of that, and the napping..

But yeah, it's nice to be free. I never wanted to get married again (why would I? I had all of my hopes and dreams crushed the first time around !) and said to her that a piece of paper meant nothing. To me, any way. Thing was she wasn't stupid she knew that my mother's will meant she was entitled to something. That has been the biggest problem. My mother had to have her will completely rewritten so all of it goes to my brother. That cost money.

10 days man. 10 days and it will all be a bad memory....

Also found out she had been squirelling money away into a pension for herself. Got a letter today addressed to me but with her name on. Opened it, £5860 in a pension FFS. She had probably been doing that all of the time we were married.

I don't care now though. What's done is done. How I got caught out is a mystery though because as I said, really didn't want to get married again. Didn't see any point.

That's why she was onto me about the TV recently. Knew it was her last chance to squeeze every penny out of me. Glad I told her to do one now.

So many things tbh. I've finally started riding again, every single day even when it hurts. MIND have been working away and found two suitable protected housing flats for me to apply for (amazeballs) and my divorce should be through any day now !

Dang man, human kindness !!

My friend gave me a board, ram and CPU last week (I5 4590S) after the board and CPU I had were fluffed. A real life saver, and really made me very happy. I stuck it into the triad.

Which of course I treated to an SSD to make it snappier. And it is, but anything that uses memory struggles really bad as it's only got 4gb single stick.

So I put the feelers out on another forum expecting to pay £15 or so for another stick. Guy says "I have 4gb Corsair Vengeance red you can have" so I say wow OK, how much is postage? he says doesn't want anything.

Awesome. So I will have 8gb. Then the parcel came earlier and was kinda heavy... Turns out he has sent me a quad channel 2133mhz kit :O

Two of those (so 16gb 4x4 in total). Wow, blown away !

I can't make use of all 16gb because the board only has two slots, but what I can do is pay it forward to my mate's 13 YO kid who is saving to build a gaming PC. Now we can find him something cheaper (used probably) and he will have the memory from the get go (one of the most expensive parts).
